Each shade is representative of a district and the number of buildings destroyed. As Poland wasn't an Independent nation during the First World War, (the region was divided between the German Empire and the Russians) the Polish region was a heavy combat zone, resulting in millions of deaths and rampant destruction. CONDITION This
