Zilveren miniatuur trekschuit met paard, Alkmaar, 1905 waterdragers used from 1970 to 1997Silver miniature horse drawn tow barge made by an unknown silversmith from Alkmaar in 1905. The miniature is hallmarked with the Minerva head P, year letter v for 1905, and the second grade hallmark. We have not been able to find a maker's mark. The tow barge is depicted in detail with two figures at the helm and a male figure on the bow. The roof of the tow barge hinges upwards; see the photo.
